I really liked this movie, but it was bad. Great fight scenes, funny plot overall but the pacing was off and there was no chemistry between the main actors. The dialogue was not great, and the soundtrack, although it had its moments, was underwhelming overall. Worth seeing for sure if you like comedic action, but a lot of unfulfilled potential here.

Hilarious, fast moving and ultimately very sweet, this show is one of my favorites this year. If you loved The Good Place, you'll love this too. All the actors shine and the writing in perfect. Highly recommend. I watched the whole thing in one afternoon!

Sweet, funny, well written, well acted and overwhelmingly feel good, this is one of my favorite movies of the past few years. Both leads are incredible, and so are the supporting cast. I liked the story like a lot, but honestly the interactions between Awkwafina and Sandra Oh were the best part. Highly recommend as a well made movie that will still make you smile.

Refreshing, insightful and most important, fun! This is a classic road trip movie with two friends who support and care for each other. Harper's transition has changed the way she interacts with the world, and Will is there to help it be less scary for her. I absolutely loved this movie and will recommend it to everyone.

Very sweet and funny. Similar type of comedy to The Hangover but much lower stakes. At its core it's a romantic comedy, and it fulfills that role beautifully. Some scenes drag on a bit but every actor plays their role well and the plot is quite enjoyable. Definitely recommend for a relaxing comedy movie night. Subtitles were not great, so maybe watch it dubbed if you don't speak German.

This is not a movie about civil war. It's about journalists, and their drive to document truth. If you like that, you'll like the movie. But if you're looking for anything realistic, relatable or even compelling then it's a waste of time. Very clearly written and directed by someone with a limited understanding of American politics and loyalties, and who wasn't willing to do the world building it would take for the audience to be invested in any outcome other than the survival of its main characters. The themes of social order breaking down are better shown in other movies. Honestly I was very disappointed. I love action movies. This wasn't one. It was a war movie, maybe.

I loved this movie and have watched it several times. The comedy is very muppet-like and silly. Overall it's a feel good movie. Makes me feel warm and toasty. The cameos really make it pop though. Especially Peter Dinklage, Sebastian Maniscalo and John Hamm. Love love love Melissa McCarthy too. Don't be a square! This film is the jam.

Feels like the movie changed directors mid film. The first part is action adventure, the second is much more existential art film. Altogether I enjoyed it, though it's not the big disaster movie I was looking for. Beautiful visuals, and there is a lot to unpack here. If you liked this I'd also recommend the Nat Geo series Mars, which is more realistic but a really intense and well done show.
