I always felt it was a mistake not including the original sequel from 1981 and continuing after that. Throwing out the relative connection also was a huge miss by DGG and this follow-up to 2018 was very disappointing with it's stale plot and rehashed violence. JLC will always be an icon within the series but she wasn't even a factor in this film and the hospital storyline (which is a bad attempt to replace 1981) makes no sense whatsoever. (YKWYK) The flashbacks, continuation of the night, to the original 1978 film are modest at best and you'll appreciated the original ending to 1978 even more now IMO.. Was expecting much better and hopefully HE can ultimately salvage anything that once made this series truly special.
