Phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal. I've loved League of Legends lore for years, far longer than the game itself. And this feels like the perfect translation from writing to screen. Aside from a few retcons that will need to be made to characters Like camile, I saw no flaws in the shift. The pacing is great, the action is weighty and sufficiently brutal, none of the characters really felt flat, there was not one piece of dialogue out of place, and the story never lulled in its execution. The animation, music, and acting are also top-notch. This is the best show I've seen all year. My only problem with this show is that its a netflix exclusive. Everyone should see this, its that good.

It tries to say something profound about Racisim, but it just falls on its face. The Idea that a 17 Year old could create a Virtual Reality MMORPG with over 500K players on her own is simply ridiculous. On top of that the Book is very Heavy-handed with its messages in the first half, Showing its Left-leaning tendencies, despite most of the detractors to the game having very good points that the Narrative treats as Racist. There are better Video game Novels, if that's what you're looking for.
