The album undoubtedly has it's moments of greatness but is inevitably dragged down by the many long stretches of middling performances between those moments, ultimately making for an uneven, tonally inconsistent project

Might be one of Kanye's best albums to date. A proper divorce album for the fellas, showcasing the curating genius and the good ear for sound that made Kanye West a musical juggernaut in the first place, combining elements of the brash chaos of 2013's Yeezus and the unflinching introspection of 2016's Life of Pablo to create one cohesive, enjoyable experience.

A beautiful, sultry album, with good songwriting that fully encapsulates the vivaciousness buoyancy of a nighttime, undefined romance and the inherent lethargy that invariably results from it . Perfect for a midnight listen for the lovesick and the lustful

Highlight of the album - Is There Someone Else The vocals are on point as usual but one feels like this is a step down from Starboy and After Hours. Production from Oneohtrix point never is much too experimental, coupled with the presentation of a mysterious radio station on an out of body experience, it comes across as more eerie than entertaining. Good solid album, but everyone knows The Weeknd has better songwriting skills than what was on show in this record. The transitions where exciting though, allowed the songs to bleed into each other for a cohesive, albeit mundane listen.

2018 was Future's bonfire year. Production is slick and reflects the current sound of Atlanta. Slides right in with the movie. A solid 4 star album
