Honestly disappointed. Save your $30 and waiit till it comes out on disney plus for free. The cartoon version was more inspiring and powerful . I don't mind necessarily that they left out the comedy side or made other changes but this lacked good directing and producing. The beginning felt rushed and tasteless such as when she took her fathers armor, the cartoon made it very powerful and all I can say is "blah" in this particular scene of the 2020 version. Even I could have produced it better😅. I was truly expecting great things from this movie but I was let down over all. The cartoon inspires me to be a strong woman but I feel nothing with the remake, only emptiness... now I need to watch the cartoon now just to feel better about mulan again. So sad.

They try too hard to make it interesting such as the clean up crew was doing the house clean up inside and the flippers clearly saw the workers take out the flooring but supposedly the flipper guy comes the next day and fires the company because the workers were supposed to leave the wood floors. Then granit counter was too heavy for the workers carrying it and then the slab falls to pieces. It just seems too set up and fake. And not to mention for being a TV show I wasn't very impressed with the final design, when I watch a design show I expect to be some what impressed.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this cartoon series! Within the past week I have been bingewatching it when ever I get home 🥰. I haven't watched the original sheRa much but comparing to the little I did see, I prefer this version so much more. I appreciate that it is representing rights for biracial couples, LGBT, and love/care for all, not to mention shared leadership amongst all the main characters to encourage support & growth for one another. The only suggestion I would like to see in the future if the series continues is to see if glimmer & bow and mermista & sea hawk are actual couples because i don't feel like I had much confrimation since everyone else who became a couple kissed but not those two couples to make it official.
