Shahid Kapoor was fabulous. No words to describe his exceptional grasp of a surgeon's character , an intense lover and an alcoholic. Supporting role of Dr. Shiva was very good but I think he went too far in helping Kabir Singh. Such friends are almost impossible to find nowadays. Mostly the film portrayed life of a medical student and a doctor nearly perfectly. Many impractical things were there but it is ok for a Bollywood movie. A happy ending was disappointing but necessary for commercial reasons. Overall 9/10. A must watch for all medicos who may go into a flashback of their college life.
