Jenna Stewart

Generally speaking I find CBS Sunday morning to be an engaging thoughtful and entertaining program. The variety of segments and the diversity to the topics and themes allows me to broaden my scope of the world view. Unfortunately this past Sunday there was a segment called the, "Sunday morning matinee: 24 hour plays viral monologues." This segment went to a dark place, that given the current climate and the high frequency that people are operating on around the recent current events, seemed quite inappropriate. I don't think now is the time to be making references to killings and murder as dark comedy. I think the people behind this program need to reflect carefully on whether or not content of this nature should be presented in this way.
