Less is More! This film is creepy…it progressed insidiously through my thoughts, as I conjured up reflections of my own career of over 30 years, titled, Director and Associate Professor. On many levels, I never got beyond being an assistant, for reasons that were pervasive in a male dominated work culture that was threatening and damaging to my life’s work life’s work, and as a mother, wife, artist, educator, and member of a community. It still haunts me at 81 years. Dreams, hopes, possibilities were sabotaged by cruel jealousy and thoughtless ambition. In a so called institution of higher learning…

I found myself squinting throughout the movie trying to see it. It's so dark and lacks proper lighting in most of the scenes, I couldn't get entranced in them visually. Too bad!
