The story is okay-ish. Not the best work of Agatha Christie but I would say it's fine. She has actually spent a lot of time developing the plot...She literally spent 100 pages describing the history of Germany. This book actually goes back in the past when Nazis were in power. The book is pretty boring in between and if you are not a history freak, you may not like the whole book. Another thing which I didn't like was she has added a lot of characters which makes it difficult to remember all. The book could have been short but then there is a lot of political, historical debates included in between which makes the book look fat, and I think the main idea was to increase the length of the chapter and she successfully accomplished it! . Khaled Hosseini is the best storyteller and he has such a good skill of making things so emotional. It is a story about the hardships of two Afghani women, Mariam and Laila. The story portrays the dirty practices followed by men on women and the disgusting manner in which the Talibs treated the people from Afghanistan. "The Kite Runner" had taught so many lessons and there is so much to learn from "A Thousand Splendid Suns" Characters like Mariam jo and Laila jo will remain forever in your heart, if you read the full story, line by line, it will completely make you emotional and break your heart. I read a lot, and this is the only book, you cannot complete in one go. After you complete reading, You feel blessed that you are born in such a place where there is no such hardship and people are free to roam on streets. Mariam and Laila, these are the two characters which lead the storyline. The plot is well set and revolves around Kabul, and some other parts of Afghanistan. The book makes you feel emotional since the first chapter itself. I was moved by the way the story is portrayed. . Individual Rating- 5/5

A genuine description of life given by Sir Yuvraj Singh. If "you can, we can" I read this book 3 years back and I remember each an every inch of the book starting from his early life to this selection to his first car to 6 sixes in an over to ICC WC 2011! Yuvraj was undergoing the treatment for cancer after WC 2011. I gained immense respect for him after completing this book. Worth Reading. Individual Rating- 4/5

This has to be the most endearing and accessible of Maugham's books. Tracing the intimate lives of representative British and American upper class, The Razor's Edge, set in Chicago, largely in Paris, and also India, was one of the first Western novels to explore non-Western solutions to society’s ills. Larry Darrell maybe seen as the protagonist, but Maugham, who is himself a character in the book, only focuses on Larry occasionally. The book makes the reader ask himself some very difficult to answer, but pretty straight forward questions about life. The book dwells on some major concepts of Advaita Vedānta Philosophy and Maugham’s lucid narrative. Its strange and tough to digest that no one in my friend circle or today's generation reads this masterpiece. They don't know what they are missing. Highly Recommended To Everyone! . This book is a combination of emotions...there’s love, friendship, jealousy, pain, sorrow and what not...The book reveals corrupt education system as well. But, somewhere this book lacks what the readers want. You may lose interest soon after reading a few pages, or you may not even like it from the first page! Just the normal romantic story but this time Chetan has added three people and made a love triangle. I will quote this again, rubbish English which is actually a mixture of Hindi and Hindi slangs is used in the book, plus, unwanted sex to increase the length of chapter is everywhere. Any book reader would want a complete story but I felt as if this book was left somewhere in between or Chetan couldn't think of a good ending. The ending is just like you force stop the story in between. Just unsatisfied with the way you ended the book. . Individual Rating- 2/5

Fault In Our Stars- Individual Rating- 4/5 Woah! Amazing book. You literally fall in love with this book. The plot is well set and you instantly gather interest in it. I bet if you are a big fan of romantic books, you are not going to stop reading this. You would feel like completing the book in one go. At the same time, this book is very emotional. I used to believe how can books make me cry but the lines written by John Green touches heart and I bet a tear would surely roll down your eyes.

Amazed to see how simple Ruskin Bond's writing is and it is yet so impressive. The illustrations make the book more lovable. I remember I purchased this from Natraj Book Depot, Dehradun in 2010. I reread it after 11 years and it has the same freshness. The writings delves into his family, friends, love for India and many more personal things. He talks about the children of India, his friends, his struggles and the real beauty of India. . *Worth Reading and Highly Recommended for Ruskin Bond Lovers* . Individual Rating- 4/5

First of all this is the second book I read written by Paulo Coelho after The Alchemist! Brida is another book added to my "All Time Fav. List" The story of Brida, a young beautiful looking, Irish girl and her quest for knowledge. On her journey she meets a wise man who teaches her about overcoming her fears and a woman who teaches her how to dance to the hidden music of the world! This book has an amazing plot, and is an incarnation of creativity! It's a great book with a lot of wise thoughtful ideas, it's filled with metaphors that you can impose to your life and experience in general. I also think it shows you the difference between what's meant to be and what actually is to be. Love is greatly explained. The common thing between all the humans is that we all are incarnated by a single soul. There are so many lessons to learn from this book... 1) When you find your path, you must not be afraid. 2) Nothing in the world is ever completely wrong. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. 3) When you find your path, you must not be afraid. You need to have sufficient courage to make mistakes. Disappointment, defeat, and despair are the tools God uses to show us the way. 4) Accept what life offers you and try to drink from every cup. All wines should be tasted; some should only be sipped, but with others, drink the whole bottle. 5) When you were in love, you were capable of learning everything and of knowing things you had never dared even to think, because love was the key to understanding all of the mysteries. . Oh My God! This is one of my all time favorite book. What an amazing novel this is! Khaled Hosseini has actually put a lot of effort in his first novel. The language is very simple, the story is too emotional but does end with a happy note. Two friends which start their journey in Afghanistan and then Taliban takes over . There are moments in the book where there is blood, brutal deaths, sad story of Afghanistan. There are moments where you feel like crying. Worth Reading... . Rating- 5/5
