This is a book I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to someone, especially someone who’s been in emotional pain. The messages aren’t pushy, not forced, that you’d find them cringy and irrelevant. The writing is so personal to the writer that you want to keep the words so close to your heart as well, whether or not you’ve gone through similar heartbreak. I’m sure anyone who’ve read this would want to keep it with them in their journey.

Cried through out. can’t point my finger at the specifics, but there were* some scenes that didn’t flow quite well. i hear the arguments about not including the songs and such, but i feel like live-action suddenly bursting into a song for an action genre would’ve been out of style. it worked for beauty and the beast and aladdin, but i think it was a good choice to extract full-blown singing from this remake. Honestly though, acting a great, some scenes just didn’t pan out and could have packed more punch. Overall it drove the morale/meaning of the story.
