The 5-star reviews are so incredibly fake. A lot of them are new accounts created right before writing their review. Sad. This movie is terrible. Special effects and the acting are both disgustingly cringe. Not only are the effects and acting terrible, the camera angles/compositions are equally as terrible. Stop ruining cult classics by making sequels on the whim of wanting a quick cash grab. There’s 0 passion behind every scene in this movie. Not one person cared enough about the film to say “hey… this sucks… can we do this or say this instead.” Disappointed is an understatement.

X-men 97 is a continuation of X-men The Animated Series from 1992. ‘97 is full of nostalgia that is guaranteed to take TAS fans back in time to their childhood. Although ‘97 feels like the past, it also feels like the present as they subtly touch on modern day issues. ‘97 is full of loss and heartache but it is also full of inclusiveness and redemption. Thank you for creating a safe place for not just the many but for all us. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The special effects were great but everything else was rather bleak. The acting was okay. The storyline was boring. I wish character development was as high of a priority as the special effects were.
