I left the theater feeling punched in the stomach not wanting to ever go back to any of the previous Daniel Craig bond movies. Sequels can change how you view the earlier installments. Case in point, Pitch Perfect 3, in which you learn Beca is no longer with Jesse. Now you can never watch the first Pitch Perfect with the same feeling of hope for the couple. You know how it ends, so you don't want to invest feelings of good will and attachment. No Time To Die is much worse. Prepare for a post viewing 2-day mourning period. How a movie ends is a choice made by the producers and whomever has their ears. They were apparently surrounded by a terribly morbid bunch this time. Unless EON Productions puts out an alternative ending, I'm done going back to Casino Royale, Skyfall, Spectre or even the underappreciated Quantum of Solace (which I think is actually really good). Knowing how matters are concluded in No Time To Die, those films don't matter anymore. It's too sad. Remember, its JUST a movie. None of what you see is real. James Bond doesn't matter. To quote M, it's now "irrelevant."
