Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a third-person psychological action-adventure in which you play as a young Celtic woman, Senua, who comes home to find her lover, Dillion, slain by Vikings. The team who worked on the game consulted and collaborated with both psychologists and mental health patients to create an artistic and empathic look at psychosis that gives the player a window to experience oft-misunderstood mental health issues for themselves. The graphics are stunning, the music is phenomenal, and the audio and visual representations of Senua's mental illness are both beautiful and terrifying. This is one of the best games I have ever played with a perfect balance of story, puzzles, and combat. Be prepared to play a game that is unlike anything you've played before.
