Aside from the technological advances in the story (which make zero sense for the era they were trying to establish based on history) The story is solid. But it lacks a lot of detail. There are particular moments throughout fights that will bother you if you are the type to pay close attention. Details in history that don’t add up either. Eps. 2. Yasuke slashes a mans head off, when he does, his original strike (it was even animated) was at the chest, severing the man from the chest up, not the neck. But the head alone is all that goes flying, making your brain rattled and not able to enjoy the continuation of the fight. Another fight, yasuke splits a man in two, but it just looks like he split him and instead of detail, the man looks as though he’s hollow and just red on the inside. Anime has come a long ways, Yasuke has a good story, but lacks the proper attention to details from character development leaving all the questions that should be answered in season 1, historical inaccuracy, to the fights. Netflix has come out with a couple of great anime’s in the past couple years, but this is not one.
