You know what this movie is?
An example that Disney is caring less and less about animation and originality when compared to money.
I could stay here all day to describe my disappointment with but I will sum it up in one scene.
In both the original and this one there is a scene where Simba and Nala are looking over Pride Rock and Nala says the lines 'I laugh in the face of danger'.
In the animated version you feel it, the amount of love by the actors and animator put in every scene.
In this remake though, this line feels lifeless, it feels dry. In the animated one, this movie was new it was original meaning it could be a failure. This idea implored the makers to try there absolute best in making this great.
But this the remake! It's already a sucess! No matter how bad the acting or CGI is, it's going make money. Meaning they don't have to try as hard.
If you want to watch this movie, please, for the sake of art watch the animated version and don't listen to those people who say 'ThiS ReMAke Is GrOWn Up' because you don't have to be a kid to appreciate it.
