Main character is lethargic. Action sequences look unreal and designed to compensate for the lead’s apparent lack of martial arts skill. Plot is formulaic and lacking intensity. Is the target audience 10 to 13 yr. olds? If so, you might have a hit in another network, in another time zone. Introducing a black woman as the heroine at this time in U.S. history is a great idea. Give her, and all the characters, more intensity. Speed up the storylines and the show might survive.
