An amazing and timeless masterpiece with a stellar soundtrack and excellent script writing. The gameplay is very unique, and the physics provide a realistic yet fun experience. Each level of the main story is expertly crafted, as well as the setting, "Empire Bay". The 1940's themed half of the game provides a noir atmosphere, blended perfectly with a winter New York City-like setting. The early 1950's themed half of the game provides a sunny and fun atmosphere, with a radio soundtrack (consisting of some of the best songs of the era) playing while you drive around in realistic and time-accurate vehicles. These two classic time periods are both fun and accurate. You won't feel like you are playing a game - you will feel like you are walking around in a real and living 1940's or 1950's New York City world. I've played this game for six years, as well.

This expansion to the original SWAT4 video-game provides more campaign missions, maps, and characters, that can be used in the Quick Mission Editor alike. It also includes more weapons and features than the base game, and it launches as a separate application instead of a modular addon, which can be helpful in some ways but unhelpful in others. For example, your progress and quick missions will not carry over from the original SWAT4 to the Stetchkov Syndicate application, but the Stetchkov Syndicate application does include all of the original SWAT4 maps for use in the Quick Mission Editor.

SWAT4 is a very realistic tactical shooter game. It will give you very memorable moments, as well as provide a tactical experience rarely found outside of games like Arma III.

A very good sandbox game. Well worth the price for the high quality community content you get for free.
