Preston and Child collectively and individually have become one my most favorite authors. I look forward with great anticipation each time they publish as a team and individually. I just finished reading The Scorpions Tail and when I saw this promotion for a new series by Preston w. Child I almost bought the entire series, but decided to just try the first one. It only took me a page to realize something was very wrong. I won’t be finishing this book and feel like there was a little intentional deception. There is nothing I will or can do about my own lack of care in what I choose to read.
