I was going to write a lengthy review but I think it'd be wasting my own time so I'll summarise by saying it's nowhere near as clever, interesting, captivating, funny or memorable as the previous movies. This series has 100% run its course now - this movie is watchable at most but totally disjointed and pointless overall - and not even remotely funny, which is why most of us adults stick out animated movies. I kept looking at my young son for signs of engagement and not even a smile from him throughout either. Luckily we watched on World Cinema Day on half price tickets, so it didn't seem like such a waste of time and money as it could've.

Unlike all the copy and paste RW bots, my review is my true feelings about this film - and I am telling you dear reader, do NOT waste your precious life watching this offensively bad load of rubbish. I truly have never in my life watched anything that even comes close to having as bad an ending as this - it is the true epitome of a massive kick in the face for being stupid enough to persevere through it, it's personal, the creators are laughing at you. I'm deeply offended that I've just wasted a precious 2+ hours of my life for THAT ending and all that utterly pointless storyline building. What th ef was the point at all? Oh wait, the cinematography was beautiful. That's all.

I was going to write a lengthy review, but you know what... There's no point, because there's zero point in the film either. It's a pointless load of rubbish with a totally non existent story line other than the overriding relationship storyline, which basically makes it a rom-com? Really disappointed.

Suburra is the joint best thing I've ever witnessed, along with Gommorah. The final series left me sobbing my eyes out, feeling suitably traumatised and i'll be thinking about it for weeks to come. What a journey over the years. Stunningly filmed, headed by some of the greatest actors ever - to come across so masterfully in a language the viewer does not understand is beyond talented. I'll be watching from the beginning again now, and I know for sure that it'll affect me in exactly the same way. A masterpiece 👏 A note about the film. The film is also brilliant, but bizarrely, even though its a sequel to the series, ends up being a contrasting standalone but with the same characters and a completely different story to the ending in series 3. Someone must've massively changed their mind about something along the way so it's 100% worth watching, but you just need to mentally prepare yourself into treating it as an alternative (even though it still doesn't make sense to because it just doesn't logically link to the series story!)
