To start with I would heartily congratulate Mr. Puneeth Rajkumar's production house for presenting many movies with many newcomers. It's really a good trend specially for Kannada film industry to support and encourage new artists. Also, it was good to view the first Kannada movie in OTT.
I don't know whether this will be read by PRK or the director Raghu. But through this platform I would strongly suggest that the producer and director of the movie should right their honest review as an audience.
The movie was very disappointing. Trailer itself has revealed the story line. It was more like a serial than a movie. It was more disappointing to know that ( I learnt this only after reading other reviews) the movie is a remake of Tamil film. It's not that I am against remake but then, the movie could have been much better. Director still has to gain lot of experience in making. Photography was good. Music would have been much better. Specially, thriller movies demand effective background score. The dialogue, screenplay and editing was very poor. I would straight away state that this is a poor delivery by the Director.
The title is not matching with the content. Main motto of the story has been twisted by highlighting that the law can be manipulated. The spectator do not get attached emotionally to the victim while taking her revenge because of the poor screenplay. Movie is lagged too much. Ragini needs lot of improvements in expressions and dialogue delivery. I don't know whether it is her own voice or a make over. Her dancing skills are not exhibited properly. Achyuth Kumar and Rajesh Nataranga have done their best. Movie to start with has irritating comedy scenes by Mandya Ramesh which makes a disappointing opening. Comedy was not required in a serious subject like this. The dignity and respect of the court and law need to be maintained. Overall, it could have been much better. However, viewers can watch the movie to support the attempt and it is aired online.
At last, I would suggest PRK that instead of shelling out his hard earned money he should spare some time in all departments involved in the making of the film. With his rich experience we expect to view more and more better movies under his banner.
Good luck ...
