Ok, so I'm 78 yrs old - but grew up in San Diego and La Jolla. The whole beach vibe hooked me. My son-in-law could easily have been a Poge. This is a fresh story with intriguing characters and great dialogue, cinematography, casting, and direction.

I genuinely hate this show. I can't believ now one has stood up and refused to drive horrible things to one another, in the name of cash. Disgusting!

I just can't. Not even one full episode. Beautiful, yes. Interesting, No! The very worst writing, combined with the very worst acting. Where did the storyline go???? Did Clive Owen get a full-body Botox injection??? Not an ounce of charm in him, nor sex appeal, nor wit. NONE! NADA! NOTHING!

I wish they hadn't made it. I'm no prude; it was just so thoroughly pointless.

I rate this movie with 5 stars for Importance and 3 stars in execution, writing, and production. The most important factor wasn't actually spoken - that there are still people in power today who are trying to cover up the brutal, inhumane abuse that occurred - or maybe that it continues to occur. The spiritual aspects of the story didn't need to be frightening at all, it always makes so much sense when it isn't scary - I fail to understand why directors use fear as a way to attract film goers. Regardless, thank you for this important story. If only it could be true that restitution could be visited on our oppressors.

Damn good! Terrific cast and writing - set decoration, directing, twists and turns! I’m happy I found out about this one. Cannot believe that’s the same actress from Longmire!
