If you saw the first Twister movie, this is almost the same exact plot, with less interesting characters, and not nearly as exciting tornado scenes. Even the tornado scenes are almost the same scenario's as the original movie, just a little different. I don't want to give away any "plot twists", but you'll see what I mean when the movie is over.

Without a doubt, one of the most intense movies I have ever watched. You know how it's going to end, but you are still rooting for the heroic passengers so much, to save the plane. If this was a Quentin Tarantino movie, they would have saved the plane, but it's not. When it was over, I was speechless, emotionally spent, and a little angry. It's not a fun movie, but it is a great movie. A movie all Americans should watch.

I have to admit, the first time I saw this film, I was disappointed. I thought Joaquin Phoenix was miscast as Napoleon, and the movie jumped around a lot, and the movie covered to much material for the length of the movie. However, I enjoy Ridley Scott movies, and nobody does more spectacular battle scenes than him. Some of the battle scenes in this movie are great! Napoleons greatest victory ever, at Austerlitz, is broken down so you can really understand why this victory was so special. It really shows his military genius. The battle of Waterloo is also quite well done. The things I didn't like, was the film dedicated little time to his worst defeat ever, his invasion of Russia. They cover it so quickly, you don't get the true image of how horrible a defeat it was. Napoleon took 617,000 troops into Russia, and came home with about 50,000! It was an absolute nightmare for his army, and the film dedicates about 15 minutes to this. Also, as said earlier, I didn't care for Phoenix as Napoleon, and there were 4 sex scenes in the movie, and everyone of them, the participants were fully clothed. Really? I thought the French were passionate lovers. In this movie, they are more like Wham,bam,thank you ma'm! I enjoyed the film overall though.

This is a movie I've seen many times, yet anytime I see it's on TV, I still tune in. It's not action packed, but the tension in this movie slowly builds to one of the best endings in movie history. The acting is top notch also. If you like good Navy war movies, give it a watch!

I'm 70 years old and have seen a LOT of horror movies. As you get older, you see movies that are rip offs or remakes of the movies you saw in your younger years, and they are rarely better than the originals. The original Exorcist is a prime example of this. Well, this movie is unlike any I have seen before, and it is truly a disturbing, dark film! I don't want to give anything away for the plot, but there are scenes in this you will remember for a long time after you you have watched this! The acting is top notch, and I don't know how Toni Collette didn't get an Academy Award nomination for this film. She is sensationally disturbed in this movie, and was really over looked. One of the creepiest movies in years!

I love this movie! It relies totally on historical facts, no love story, just history. Tells the story of the making of the first atomic bomb, and tells both the Japanese side and the American sides equally. If you think we were wrong to drop the bomb, watch this and learn what we were facing if we didn't drop it. Excellent acting and very interesting script. A must see for history buffs!

This was the first war movie I ever saw when I was 8 years old. Still love this movie today, with many memorable scenes and a great climactic finale. A true war classic!
