Theres a lot that you have to get past in order to enjoy the show... the overdramatic acting, the cheesy plot lines, skipping over the character building, etc. The show relies heavily on you already knowing and having grown with the characters from the original universe. Luckily, I have, so I do enjoy the show to an extant. I'm hoping the writers are able to pull this one off with a couple minor changes...
