It's a brilliant storytelling! If someone finds it boring, they know no appreciation of art and life and its many lemons. (It isn't peachy, sunshine and rainbows always and for everyone) I thank the director for the beautiful 70s music, the way the characters slowly build up and the lack of any "power muscle throwing bad guys into the air." There are few strong moments of grief specially loss of Harry's sock, but the movie doesn't let you sit and grieve.. you have to move on for the next "lemon". Points to Aska Matsumiya for the subtle yet powerful background score, specially "I am" and " Return to the cabin".

I dont get the idiotic criticism of the 'critics'. Its a beautiful story. Very offbeat. Emotional and gripping. Its not the regular kind of stories where its either foolishly action- packed for no reason, or its pathetically romantic. Its practical, heart breaking and heartwarming at the same time. Catches you off guard with some amazingly heartbreaking surprises. Fell in love with the child's character, ie Henry from the moment he opened his mouth. Thats how charismatic the character is! same reason the doctor falls in love with him .The relationship between the two brothers and the mother is sweet and heartwarming. And the way Henry takes care of everything, even after his death...breaks your heart but engulfs you as well in a sweet loving familial blanket.
