I was going on 12 when this came out and I thought that I wasn’t part of the target demographic. I just watched the trilogy a few weeks ago and it’s legit one of the best movie franchises out there. The costumes and sets are all well made and the only problem I see some people having with this movie is some of the cgi at the end but if you’re enjoying the movie you won’t notice it

A spectacular sequel to one of the best movies of our time. Rainbow Rocks improves upon the original Equestria Girls in every area. The characters are even more compelling this time and it doesn't hurt that Daniel Ingram managed to make amazing pop songs that appeal to people of all ages. Rainbow Rocks is one of the best things to come out of MLP G4 and one of my biggest regrets was not catching this in theaters when it came out. 10/10 would recommend for kids of all ages

I watched this when it came out in 2013. Upon hearing of the show's ending a few months ago I decided to rewatch all of MLP and this movie still holds up really well. It's a great introduction to an interesting spin-off world that is sure to entertain any child. Unsure if anybody above high school age can really enjoy this movie to its fullest though. Although some people complained about this movie's usage of cliches when it was first released, they're executed excellently and are well complimented by the beautiful animation. An absolute must-watch for any kids out there. 10/10
