I was excited to see the first Jordanian show on Netflix, and when I knew about the plot I thought it was a great story, but ultimately it did not deliver.
Cursing: there was a lot of cursing, in the first 2 episodes it was too much in my opinion, but then they toned it down a bit in the last 3 episodes, if they were used as they were in the last 3 episodes in each episode it would've been better.
Acting: unfortunately most of the actors were beginners and it showed, the actor who played Vera( Aysha Shahaltough) did a great job, the actor who played Mira( Salma Malhas) has potential and I believe she will get better in the future, but for this season most of the acting was sub-par.
Location: I love Petra, and the places used for filming were great, such a beautiful historic place.
A lot of people talked about the kissing scene that happpened, my only negative about it was that it was in a historic and respected place (Petra), and I would've preferred if it happened somewhere else.
Script: as someone who understands Arabic, I think it sounded a bit lacking, I hope the script writers fix it next time.
I believe it is a step in the right direction for acting and filming in Jordan, and if there is a second season, I hope the actors learn from the first season, gain more experience, and make an amazing second season.
My opinion it was a 6/10
