There are parts or this series that make it hard to watch sometimes, but it's about a regular woman who goes through horrific things and comes out of it an actual warrior and is the victor in the end. At the hands of these psychos, she does not really give in or let herself become someone else. There is a love story in there amidst all the terrible things that happen. It is scary and insane but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, It was worth watching.
