It is amazing to see how polarizing the reviews are. Yes, we know that some numbers were fudged or out of date with regard to solar / wind. It's a Michael Moore movie and while it is not perfect, at least he isn't on camera.
But the film excoriates the primary greenwashers which have been more visible on the left (and behind the scenes on the right) while opening up the viewers eyes to the primary means we power our industrialized nations.
Both sides politically are to blame as they have allowed an international system to flourish that funnels public money and resources to wealthy people who lie to us in perpetuity to keep the system running and thus enrich themselves on tax dollars while destroying the planet.
It is not a perfect movie, but what other movie is such the call that society needs to radically change? We need real green energy (nuclear, solar, and wind), less consumerism, ZERO billionaires, and a whole lot of us to wake up tomorrow and realize that we are all on this spinning rock, together.
