This show is fine. Not my favorite, but I didn't hate it. The animation in Season 1 is kind of - eh - but Season 2 streamlines it so it looks much better. I also love the Season 2 character designs a lot more, and the story was easier to sit through. Honestly Season 2 overall is better. There is an actual over arcing plot, and the characters have more of a goal than just "We go to a school for fairy tales and have to fight the school mean girl! Hijinx ensue!" The ships are good - Ling-Ling and Travis are best couple - the main characters are likeable enough, and they ease up on the toilet humor (Thank god. I still can't believe that this was made by the same people who did Winx club) Overall, it's a decent watch for younger kids, and there are some episodes that I come back to every now and then, but I recommend you stick with things like Ever After High or Descendants if you're an older viewer. And if you really want to watch this show? Stick to Season 2.
