I don''t care about a single character. I don't care what happens to any of them. Kill them all or don't. Also they all seem thoroughly like actors playing characters. The whole time you're very aware you're going watching a Netflix show. I don't care if I fall asleep in the middle of an episode. It's like gas station sushi or AI art.

Cathartic in it's thoughtfulness and delicate touch. Fun, laugh out loud, yet tender and nuanced discussion of identity and authenticity, race and authority. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie.

I don't know. Was the point to follow the person who was not interesting? Get out of the way of fame. Gotcha.

A poignant topic and yet I was left knowing almost nothing about any of the characters' stories, and caring about them even less. There was no dramatic tension, when there might have been at least a bit - not like everything has to be a nail biter, but c'mon. It's like all the individual trauma and individual lives were mushed into bland, flat, faceless, collective versions. What a waste of time.

Meh. Can't win em all. This attempt at a Latina Moana feels derivative, forced, and half baked.

It doesn't even matter if the movie is entertaining. The real problem is that it encourages all the nut jobs out there to think that their unhinged conspiracy theories might actually be true. The timing of this movie couldn't be worse coming at the tail end of the Trump presidency. Like a fantasy written by Qanon crazies or some right wing revisionist history of pizza gate. Everyone involved with the film should be ashamed.
