Dark yet chocolaty love with a dramatic opening in fictional town of Jwalapur. A blast in a haveli, a severed hand with Rani written on it purportedly of Rishabh Saxena (Vikranth Massey). Next scene is flashback in times to a hot looking Rani (Tapsee) when Rishabh comes with his family to her house in Delhi looking for a prospective marriage match. Besotted Rishi marries against his mother's wishes.
Challenges unfold of a modern day marriage, here between an upstrung but naive city girl and socially challenged and sweet Rishi A visiting stud Neel, a distant cousin of Rishi provides Rani with the allure missing in her post marriage life. This leads to the main story in shades of grey, told by Rani during police investigation she being the main suspect of Rishi's murder after the disappearance of Neel. Main theme is not a crime thriller, but a a make-believe saga of two people bonded by passionate love.
Rest please watch yourself. Do with a open mind relishing Haridwar riverside which looks a fair cousin of Udaipur in the film.
