This is the best bipolar book I have found. It is more extensive in the explanation of the disorder. It is great for someone who has been diagnosed for a while and has done other research. Not for someone who is newly diagnosed. I basically gives you a plan to recover, and will help you do that if you are committed to the process.
I believe the authors did an amazing job explaining that not all bipolar diagnoses are the same. And I definitely saw my self in the spectrum of ultra- radian cycling and mixed episodes.
