This movie is at least five times better than the cashgrab 2015 one. The original movie has funnier jokes, more charming animation, and a grander story overall. It has some great new characters too, along with all the old ones, even if the rest of the main cast is relegated to only a few scenes each.

Oobi was the best show on Noggin. I liked the one where Oobi's little sister was sick and the boys were trying to make her better.... it was really sweet, and also clever how they positioned the camera so it looked like Uma was really sleeping on the couch! I also loved how the Grandpa ("Grampu") was all puckered up like he was supposed to be wrinkly. It is quite an original concept. Embarrassingly, I know all the words to the theme song and sometimes it gets stuck in my head for hours at a time......

I only ever saw this show 2 or 3 times, but the "shadow" parts freaked me out to the point where I developed a fear of this show and the house it was set in. When it would come on, I would run to the other room because I was scared of the shadow. It was so bizarrely creepy. I am glad to see other people agree with me on Youtube that this was a common fear to have as a child. I'm glad they don't show this show (Bear inthe Big Blue House) anymore. It's still frightening and eerie to me.
