Flawless acting. Ewan McGregor deserves everything at awards time. Biographical stuff doesn’t come any better than this. You somehow forgive every grandiose narcissistic behaviour on display for the talent, the designs, and ultimately the pacing, set design, music, and character development. I didn’t want this short season to end. Magnificent

Very original. Good acting. Writing disappoints toward the end and gets philosophical and long winded, when the plot is strong enough to do without it.

It’s like Solaris and Gravity had a baby. No doubt about King George: he makes beautiful looking movies with questions that linger. I really liked this one. Pacing is off in parts (radar repair scene) but it’s thought-provoking and empathetic. I’ll be mulling on this one for a while I reckon.
