Bird box is a good film, nothing extraordinary, with a good cast. Any messages it tries to push to the audience is muddled and confused and it doesn't bring anything new or amazing to the thriller/horror genre(I guess a quiet place is partially at fault for that). I believe it's worth a watch, but don't expect Shakespeare from this movie, it's simple and to the point and doesn't break boundaries. I wouldn't spend extra money on it unless it was in the bargain bin.
