im not sure she knows what gilded means , because she stripped a sink in a huge mansion which had african mahogany in it and what she really stripped off was the sink, which was white porcelein that was gilded with 24 kt gold, the cupid faucet was also gilded at one time but wore off because of handling it through the yrs. you cant paint gold to look like that. what a shame other than that it turned out really nice.
