The story bad, the script bad, but all i can say, and admit, is that the cast was on point, if Kristen wiig wasn't on board this movie would have flopped terribly in the box office, i think people went to see it just for the main cast. just maybe chris hemsworth wasn't needed in the movie, they just forced his presence, personally, i think he wasn't a good fit for his character. Other than that, again, Kristen, malissa, and Kate, the main reason why i watched this movie, they are funny, the jokes were good. just the story was bad.

i'm not sure this movie got the recognition it deserved, but at least it got reviews, lots of attention and high ratings. this movie, personally, i would say was the best of 2019. that year came out with terrible movies i would say, but it was more a year of great independent movies like this one, maybe it's not as big as other movies, but the directing was strong overall, the ideas were brilliant, maybe i could've expected somehow something more from Adele, but at least we got to see the hidden talent of a new actress Noemie. the end of the movie was so pure and moving, it proved that Celine is a legendary director. i hope to see more of her work soon.

this movie set the bar quit high for this genre. it was so nicely shot, the music, the cast, all on point. the perfection proved that we can tell important stories like this one's in a horrific way which can be more expressive than being told in a dramatic way. the metaphors in this movie were nicely written, the fact that is was split into four parts was also a good idea, just maybe the directing could've been done better. but over all i would give this movie a SOLID 8 out of 10. hiba lahssini
