this book tore my heart into little pieces. however, it was the best book ive ever read. SPOILER WARNING: the betrayal from ryle was so unexpected. i was a bit doubtful of him even when he was kicking the chairs when they first met, but the fact he went so far and still wanted lily to forgive him was actually so shocking. i had started to love ryle's character but what he did to lily was disgusting and it's so upsetting that people have to deal with this in real life too :(
