Overall a really strong plot and a new artistic look to the characters, intertwining Hal Jordan's character with the parasite when we were all hoping for a green lantern appearance and the added twist that the green ring didn't work on him was brilliant. But I couldn't get over the fact that he shot lasers through his glasses to warm up coffee and the fact that an alien was smoking Cuban cigars.
