I had hopes since the rating seemed to be high. But gosh how I wish I went on IMDB first. It was predictable, tried to be entertaining, many have said it was possibly written by AI due to the boring plot, on and on we could go... Would skip this one

Honestly, seems okay and then becomes terrible. The cinematography is great but at some point, you'll notice the actors struggling to pretend to be blind, filler plots in episodes to make it go slower, and perhaps find Baba Voss's limp irritating and ask yourself why he is *always* injured in the same way every time, question the motives of everyone involved, find Kofun's acting to be overly sentimental, question certain plot points, unnecessary violence (in season 2 it suddenly became so much more gory), and find the prayer/sexual scenes absolutely disgusting and unnecessary. I love Fantasy, but honestly only watch this if you're bored and have absolutely nothing else to do. I finished it because I tend to finish what I start, even if it pains me. Otherwise, it will be super and extremely irritating.

3,5 stars. Was ready for the worst given critic's comments and ratings amongst viewers, but honestly it was not that bad. Maybe not amaaaazing but definitely not absolutely terrible either.

Disappointing 4th movie. Waste of time and money. Should have just left it at the 3rd.

As a Kenyan, African, and lover of my Mother Continent, this series made me cry. I wept for everything that I was not taught. Wept for the Kings and Queens I did not know I descended from. Words cannot describe the impact this has had on me and on the way I view my Mother and Her People.

Watched it when I was younger, re-watching now. It's an incredible show
