I read this book in one week and I never completed a book in that short of time. I very hard book to read because usually when I read a book I try to put myself in the lead characters position as to what they could be feeling, and it was very heart breaking. The main character is a teenage boy and as everyone knows your teenage years could be very hard, making friends and trying to fit in to a society that wants everyone to be ordinary and the same. A great book, like I said very hard to put down. I hope the author writes a sequel. What happens to Max, the main character, when he becomes an adult.

I just started reading Midnight Sun a few days ago, and I find it too be a very interesting read. So far very fascinating. I like how it is Edward's perception even though it is still in the high school setting, although Edward being over 100 years old, it seems more an adult take on the story. I am no teenager and I definitely wasn't when the first book came out. I received the first Twilight book as a birthday gift from one of my sisters and along with my sisters and my three daughters we were hooked. We have read all the books and seen all the movies. I am a Twi-Mom through and through. I hope Ms. Myers will consider writing a book on the Volturi, it would be very interesting to get the background stories on Aro, Caius and Marcus. It would be interesting to find out their backgrounds, what time did they live in, what were they before becoming vampires, what were their occupations, family, etc. How old were they when they became vampires, who turned them, how did they end up together? Myself, not to mention other people I have spoken to - people in my age bracket also find these characters very interesting. The movie New Moon I think is my favorite in the series because of the Volturi, they made the movie as far as I am concerned. I really hope that Ms. Myers will write a novel about them. Midnight Sun - great book.
