I first saw this movie so many years ago, it touched me then in a profound way. The friendship they shared is a shining example of what is achievable. It hurts my heart to think we have devolved into the present state of unrest and hatred again. Some may say I'm a snowflake but say what you want, I've lived 60 years and have seen so much good and so much bad. You can't hurt my feelings. We are all human.....some are just very hateful people.
