Although dated by today's standard, this was a must watch for all us kids back then (by those of us living in and around the Woodend township and area, where the series was shot.) Episode 25 features the W A Davey milk bar, owned by my foster parents. I was standing at the front window left of screen, watching the filming. The director came in and asked me to move, for editing purposes. The inside of the milk bar was a set built in the Woodend Mechanics institute. In another episode the boys at the Woodend Primary School were playing football. We were asked to stand still when Tom threw the boomerang and took the football off one player and gave it to another. Would like to see this to try to pick myself out. Although first aired in 1965, the footage was shot in 1964, when I was in grade 6.
