Avatar the Last Airbender as a cartoon was a masterpiece many can enjoy today. Even when it was released a decade ago, there are still many components that many can relate too. This movie was a disgrace and a poor representation of what it should actually look like. Not only that, making the protagonist white and the antagonist a poc really demonstrates the racism and the ideology of white saviors in a show primarily centered around Asian culture. And to top it off, this movie was the reason why Azula didn't get a redemption arch. HOW DARE YOU DO MY GIRL LIKE THAT?!
