It was very powerful shing a light on the appalling plight of asylum seekers. Nothing has changed,in fact the situation is even worse. The fact that a and Australian citizen could end up in a detention centre really highlights how desperate the situation really is. Everyone was horrified that an Australian woman could be locked up in a detention centre. It highlighted the worst of everything regarding detention centres. This series is a very timely show as detention centres are even worse now.
