I wasn't to sure about this book when I picked it up. I looked on the back to read and see if anything would catch my eye. I checked it out not thinking of really much at first. Then I started to read. wondering why she was cooped up in her house, it was putting me on edge. The boy next door really made the story complete. She needed someone to guide her into taking the first steps into the real world again. Learning the story behind her problem, was sad, emotional. End the end she figures out how to deal with the help of the people she loves and letting them in.

I got this book last year from my school library and was instantly intrigued when I read the back. I just recently bought it because I wanted to be able to always read it when I wanted. Don't want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't read it or wants to check it out, but this is the best book I've ever read. Knowing that you can become friends with the people you least expected to, distancing yourself from hatred, and growing into a stronger person for herself.
