Very easy to fall out of interest. You have to remind yourself to pay attention, otherwise you get bored. The perspective of a monitor gets annoying, but I guess they wanted to be original. I do respect the large plot twist, and I can appreciate the movie for its unique walk through of the events and the father’s spiral. Nonetheless, it wasn’t predictable so points for that as well.

This movie is not for someone who enjoys intensity or excitement in their movies. I expected a lot more from this movie, and when I say more I mean real reactions from real characters and not a olden-era reenactment. I felt the characters were flat, any progression of the movie was underlying and below the surface. Even their relationship seemed to be so passionless and flat. Doesn’t belong in the romance category at all.

It has a slow beginning, where you almost feel like you’ve missed something if you blink. and personally I’m someone who enjoys dialogue and dramatic verbal interaction BUT it was... painfully beautiful. You watch two people fall in love in the most hesitant but undeniable way. There’s moments where you hold your breath because of the level of intensity of the two characters, it’s like they hate each other but are drawn back together. It was a relief for their to be an ending that didn’t chew your heart up and spit it back out. Slightly raunchy, but gets better at the end.
