*No spoilers*
I would give the anime a 7/10 and the manga a 9/10.
STORY: 8/10 I really like the story, even if it seems kinda rushed how Yatora went from not being able to draw anything to drawing intermediate level things in a day.
CHARACTERS: 9/10 The mc is very plain. He has little to no personality, and all he thinks about is art. All his problems revolve around art, nothing else. He's like a self insert, but he has a lot of screen time which makes it dull. The side characters however, are so good it makes up for the mc. I LOVE Ayukawas personality, and how it wasn't just a classic case of "My parents dont support my dreams" but it goes deeper than that. Another good example is Maki Kuwana , she feels held back by her sisters reputation and forces herself to be better all the time.
ART: 5/10 The art is OK, Ive seen better, nothing special about it. Ive seen a lot of people talk about how the grey rooms and cold white lighting in a lot of scenes are depressing, but it adds to the theme.
CONCLUSION: Personally, I think this anime is worth your time. It's lackluster in a lot of ways but I think the important messages and how it really makes you think outshines its flaws. I think the manga is better though so if you have time read it instead
