This book is written very well! The author clearly had a grasp of the fictional world they were writing about whilst writing this beautiful piece. The characters (there are currently over 7 billion in current day lore!) are all extremely fleshed out, and the world seems so terribly dreary that I'd hate to live there. This knocks the previous best book (Magna Carta) out of the park! My only issue is that it's a bit dry during the "Human Suffering" arc.
