This is my review of the album: This album is called Splid by Kvelertak. Let’s get into this epic journey. HOLY RIFFS OF THE CRIMSON KING OVERLOOKING THE CRYSTAL BALL OF THE EARTH!! This album is just enthralling with amazing riffs from Vidar Landa and Bjarte Lund Rolland and Maciek Ofstad, mind blowing bass riffs from Marvin Nygaard, surprisingly amazing harsh and clean vocals from new frontman Ivar Nikolaisen and kickass drumming from Håvard Takle Ohr. That’s how awesome this album is. This album has it all from the epic opener known as Rogaland, the banger of a song known as Crack Of Doom featuring Troy Sanders of Mastodon, the intense stop and start blasts of Necrosoft, the earth shattering title track known as Discord, the monolithically melodic Bråtebrann, the punk rock mosher known as Uglas Hegemoni, the psychedelic and amazing tale of a skeleton known as Fanden Ta Dette Hull!, the foot stomping grooves of Tevling, the mythical story of Stevnemøte Med Satan, the avant garde brutality and stentorian riffage of Delirium Tremens to the extremely amazing closer of this riff laden record known as Ved Bredden Av Nihil. This record is just absolutely one of my favourite records that came out this year so far. I enjoyed every moment, every riff, the production by Kurt Ballou is pristine and tight, and it’s a definite must have in your collection. I think you will love this album more than I do!
